Processing methods


The Controller adopts appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of personal data. 

Processing is carried out using IT and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Controller, in some cases, other parties involved in the organization of this Website (administrative, marketing, legal staff, system administrators) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Controller, may have access to the data. The updated list of Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.

Purpose of processing and legal basis


The personal data you voluntarily provide (first name, last name, e-mail) through the forms on our website will be processed, using both paper and electronic means, in compliance with the provisions on the protection of personal data and in particular the appropriate technical and organizational measures referred to in art. 32.1 of the Regulation, for the following purposes:


1.     “Assistance” Form: to process your requests for information, for the execution of pre-contractual and contractual measures requested by you, as well as to fulfill the consequent legal and contractual obligations arising from them.


2.     “Online Shop”: to process your request to purchase tickets online, both regarding admission and activities proposed by Parco Zoo Punta Verde (adoptions, gift cards, season passes, unique experiences, etc.) and to fulfill the legal and contractual obligations arising from it.


3.      “Newsletter subscription”: sending newsletters relating to news or events, sending commercial communications through automated means such as e-mail.


The legal basis for the purposes referred to in points 1) and 2) is the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the data subject. The communication of data is a necessary requirement for the execution of pre-contractual or contractual measures; failure to provide them will make it impossible for us to respond to your requests and offer you our services.

The legal basis for the purpose referred to in point 3) is the freely expressed consent which can be revoked by you at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.


Transfers to a third country


Data are not subject to transfer to third countries or international organizations.


Data retention period

Personal data necessary for the purposes referred to in points 1) and 2) will be kept for the duration of the established contractual relationships and also subsequently in accordance with the rules on the conservation of administrative documentation for the fulfillment of all legal requirements attributable to tax, accounting, and administrative obligations.

Personal data relating to the purposes referred to in point 3) will be kept until the revocation of consent.


Rights of the data subject


As a data subject, you may exercise your rights (articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679) at any time by sending a communication via e-mail to the contact details indicated above. In particular, you have the right to request:

·        access to personal data;

·        their rectification;

·        erasure (deletion);

·        restriction of their processing;

·        the right to object to their processing;

·        the right to data portability, i.e., the right to receive the personal data you provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.


Complaint to the supervisory authority

Automated decision-making


The data controller does not use automated decision-making processes, including profiling.
